PRAYER IS PARAMOUNT

We embrace the biblical principle of Psalm 127:3, “Children are a heritage from the Lord.”

Daily prayer is essential in the Christian life, especially as we navigate uncertainty and novel issues.

We pray to begin the day and before meals. We pray for loved ones and friends. We pray to thank God for his goodness and blessings!

SAFETY IS ESSENTIAL

COVID-19 TRAINING
Our caregivers are equipped with the knowledge needed to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in our child care facility. Training includes the most current and specific guidelines for child care programs from MSDE, Maryland Department of Health (MDH), and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Child care providers have been educated on the essentials of the Department of Health guidance and what needs to be done to ensure that health and safety practices are aligned and in compliance with infection control and physical distancing requirements.

We comply with all applicable State and local fire, zoning, health, safety, and environmental codes. All areas of the facility, including food preparation, service, and storage are maintained in a state of cleanliness so as not to endanger the children's health. After toileting, before food preparation and eating, after playing outdoors, after handling animals, and at other times when necessary to prevent the spread of disease, staff wash their hands thoroughly with soap and warm running water and ensure that a child's hands are washed thoroughly, by the provider or by the child, with soap and warm running water.

Young children learn through play. BLOOM’s curriculum/program activities are designed to nurture a passion for learning in each arena of development: social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual.
